The dualities that Mind creates in every aspect are all just two sides of the same coin. Whichever you choose, there you have always definitely the other side of the same coin.

The Mind is so bad at discerning facts that it prefers to believe in the illusion that the world would be a better place if we all could choose the better side of the coin.

But in fact, no matter what one chooses in that same dual world, no one can ever reach the truth or authentic love that transcends them. Because no matter what one chooses, it will unavoidably bring just the other side of the coin, and everywhere in every corner of the dual world, it will always be the same dual world.

In fact, has there ever been a time in human history when a single choice did not bring its other side to us?

Imagine this…

You are playing a game of Othello. In that game, winning or losing is everything. Who wins or loses? If you win, you are happy; if you lose, you are frustrated. As you become absorbed in the game, you forget that you are playing Othello, and you begin to think as if winning or losing determines your value.

The white pieces and the black pieces are just two sides of the same piece, and they are the same no matter which side, but you began to believe your value to whether you win or lose the Othello game and continue to be trapped in a cage of illusory value of Othello pieces until you realize the illusion you have created for yourself.

Here, once again, remember the beginning.

You were just playing a game of Othello.

Neither that game nor either of its pieces were you, and did your existence exist beyond the dual world in that Othello game, doesn’t it?

You have just completely forgotten, haven’t you?

Spiritual awakening is very much like being aware of your true nature who is the player the Othello game you are playing.

The difference is that our life purposely by our true nature begins to create the illusion that the mind, the ego, is ourselves, forgetting its true nature for the ultimate spiritual awakening experience.

By immersing in a world where that mind, body, title, etc. are identified with ourselves, we all certainly lose sight of our true nature at one time or another. For finding the true nature again and live the grand dream of freeing oneself from all the illusions created by the Mind. For experiencing again the joy of living every moment as its very true nature, unconditional love itself.
