“ROLE”
Until we find our true nature, many of us live our lives with fulfilling various roles, that are socially accepted and required in our time.
Wife, husband, mother, father, manager, child, student, woman, man, government employee, restaurant server, and many more. Gender roles in particular are widely expected to have a similar role image throughout the world.
This role image is within the unconscious realm of the mind, and many of us are either fulfilling the role we think is required without particularly deep thought, or we reject the required role by the society and struggle with the society that demands it. In either case, however, the realm of conscious is limited to the same mind.
Furthermore, the role image within our unconscious realm is greatly influenced by social conventions, and as the required role image changes across generations, it often causes confusion as a kind of ‘change beyond comprehension’ between generations.
On the other hand, when we direct question at ourselves about the role that we fulfill, we cut through our own unconscious (=ego) and come to begin the path that leads us to the depth of ourselves.
Only when what lies beneath the unconscious (=ego) is thus exposed to the light of day through our own awareness, do we begin to ask ourselves the simple but profound question, ‘Who am I?’
Thus, for those of us who have not yet awakened spiritually, this ‘role’ can sometimes bring suffering, while for those with extremely low self-esteem it can provide an illusional sense of security, but ultimately, it is the key point to transcending it.

May you connect with your true nature again beyond your own mind and free yourself from mere roles. 🙏✨🌈
